A Prayer Based on Psalms 127

Heavenly Father,

Unless You build the house, all my labor is in vain

Unless You watch over what I do, all my striving leads to nothing

So today, Lord, I surrender every plan, every dream, and every desire to You

Be the foundation of my life

Be the center of my vision

Be the guard over my home, my heart, and my future

I confess, Lord, that I often work anxiously—rising early, going to bed late, and chasing provision and progress. However, Your Word says You give sleep to those You love

Teach me to rest in Your timing and Your grace, not just my effort

I ask You to bless the work of my hands only if it aligns with Your will

Help me invest my time, money, and energy in ways that are eternal, not temporary

Make me like a warrior, holding arrows of legacy, aiming them toward Your will

Let my life be filled with things that matter and last

Be my builder

Be my watchman

Be my peace

In Jesus’ name I pray,

Amen.
