A Prayer for the Waiting and Trusting

God of creation,

You who breathed life into dust and shaped the unseen into being

I come to You with open hands and an open heart

You have stirred something holy within me

A longing so deep it echoes in my bones

Thank You for this gift

Not just the dream, but the capacity to dream at all

Thank You for the wonder I feel

For this joy that floods me

For the sacred ache of wanting something so pure, so life-giving

If it is Your will, let your promise take root within me

Make me ready body, heart, and spirit to carry what you’ve entrusted with faith and reverence

Strengthen me in the waiting

Steady me in the wondering

Let peace guard my heart, even when the path is unclear

Let hope rise like morning light, soft but certain

Whether the answer comes tomorrow or in time yet to unfold

I trust You

I trust Your timing

I trust that what You begin, You will carry through

And in all things, I rest in Your love

A love that holds me, shapes me, and never lets me go

In Jesus name I pray

Amen.
